Hemingway Dream Florida Ocean Front Beach Rentals

Karen was amazing in accommodating us for a week stay on very very short notice. Her place is comfy, bright, beautifully decorated. The location couldn't be better- the beach is just feet off the back porch and very quiet. The public beaches are several miles away, so the only people who happen to walk past are also staying on the same stretch of beachfront houses. We saw lots of birds, fish, dolphins, and collected some shark teeth. The dog had a great time hanging out on the sand also. Due to our global pandemic situation we cooked in every night and this kitchen is well equipped to do so. The range is professional and the frig is brand new. There is a lot of beautiful counter space to work with. They left plenty of dishwasher tabs, dish soap and trash bags to keep the kitchen clean. I was spoiled with the view while washing dishes:) Let's see what else...the beds were all comfy, there are TVs in every room, bath towels were nice and fresh and there were a stash of beach towels to use. There were also a few nice new beach chairs to use if you don't happen bring any. If life allows we will be back to Hemingway Dream. Thanks for such a great stay Karen!

The good: Great location and beach front view. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of chairs for outdoor seating.
The Bad: The AC does not cool the top floor bedrooms below 81 degrees. The main floor bedroom with the Murphy bed is in the entrance to the house and does not cool off. The bottom floor bedroom/efficency has a wall AC unit and does not cool unless you reset the unit. It is damp and you can smell mildew. The entire house needs a deep clean and paint inside and out . I don’t recommend this house in the hot months, during winter and spring it should be ok.

We had a fantastic stay at Hemingway Dream. The location couldn’t be better. Private beach far from public beach access just steps from the house back door. Great set up as well. Private first floor apart from the main levels. The house itself was great - good kitchen well stocked with needed supplies, good working AC, great flat screen TVs and fast internet. The house could use a fresh coat of paint but that in no way keeps the stay from being any less wonderful. Management was very attentive to any questions or issues.

Our experience with Noble Stay and Karen was nothing short of exceptional. We rented a beach house from them recently and encountered a minor issue with the AC. However, their responsiveness and efficiency in getting it fixed almost immediately truly impressed us. It was clear that they prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction above all else.

What truly set them apart was Karen's extraordinary effort and kindness. My daughter had accidentally left behind her beloved baby blanket, which held immense sentimental value as it was handmade by her grandmother. Despite the time that had passed, Karen went out of her way to locate the blanket and ensured it was safely mailed back to us. This act of genuine care and dedication went above and beyond our expectations.

We cannot recommend Noble Stay and Karen highly enough. Their commitment to their guests' happiness and comfort, coupled with their outstanding customer service, makes them a standout choice for anyone looking to rent a vacation property. We are grateful for their exceptional service and will certainly be returning for future stays.

The house is at a fantastic location (only bad thing was the road in front of the house, the cars were rather loud and fast) and we had the beach for ourselves. The condition of the house is not the best. A fresh coat of paint in many places and some maintenance would do wonders. It was not spotless, but it was not horribly dirty either. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but I doubt we will book this house again.

But the views...WOW! We spent many hours relaxing on the deck and even on the private beach steps away from the house. Downtown St. Augustine was a short drive away as was other smaller towns with shops and restaurants. We are counting the days until our next visit!

Great location. House is lovely on the inside. The one issue was that the power to part of the house (including the fridge and washing machine) went off multiple times every day; we stayed over the Christmas period so it was difficult to get someone to look at it. Unsure whether the problem was with the house or the power supply company but I’m guessing it was the house.

We had a lovely stay and loved being right on the beach. The host was extremely helpful and always responded promptly. The house was clean and there were plenty of clean towels. The only downside was there were no beach chairs or umbrellas, so that was an added expense. Since we were flying, we just "gifted" them to the next renters and hope that they pay it forward.

This was a great place for our large family to stay. The lower level was more of an apartment set up. It was completely separate and had to be accessed from outside. This worked well for us since we had multiple families that stayed. It allowed some separation. The beach was very nice and private. The house had a bathroom and an outdoor shower that we used many times. Very short distance from the house to the beach. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. Beach towels, extra blankets, and a card table were also provided. We would definitely stay here again. Very close to St Augustine and Jacksonville. Local restaurants were packed so we drove to the surrounding areas to eat.

This house has everything and right on the beach! Spectacular!

All I can say is dont sleep on booking this place . We have been coming to this area for years and this was our first time staying here but I can tell you it won’t be our last. The covered back porch alone is worth the cost to stay here. Not to mention the surf fishing was awesome as well.

The beach was all ours. There weren't many people on it. Great sand. The waves are SO loud. It didn't bother us, but you heard it the whole time in the house. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The apartment down below was in good shape. There is NO cell phone reception on this island (I've never stayed on an island that had good reception) My carrier is Verizon. Beautiful beach property with secluded beach access perfect for social distancing! This is a perfect escape for large families, we were a party size of 10! Hemingway Dream is beautifully furnished inclusive of a well appointed kitchen! House was incredibly clean upon arrival, Karen ensures that you are well equipped for your stay! She even left a small gift! We are looking forward to visiting again!

House was just about perfect....the range does not work! We had to manual start the gas burners and no oven entire stay. While it was bad since we brought all but one night’s dinner, we just brought up the toaster oven from apartment downstairs and made it work. We did call and some guy came out to “fix” it, he knew it didn’t worked, it basically felt like a courteous call. He did not fix it. BUT we still had a great time being right on the ocean, waves were amazing, shell collecting, bonfires twice, playing cornhole on yard when tide was too high, and drinking/chatting under covered deck when it was raining. It was the quiet relaxing long weekend we all needed. Please please just replace the entire range. St Augustine was fun too.

This house had all we needed to have good family week at the beach. The sleeping arrangements worked. We did bring in a table and chairs but all other need were take care of. Lovely gifts of wine, charcuterie tray, and smore fixings as well as kind note of welcome were so appreciated.

Needed a big house and this was perfect. 3 floors. Plenty of room. Had everything for beach including towels, beach chairs, noodles for floating, and a rod and reel if you wanted to fish. Convenient store half a mile North on A1A. A Publix about 5-6 miles South. Full kitchen on main floor and all appliances to cook anything. Kitchenette on ground floor. Private beach with just people from neighboring houses. Pretty much had the beach to ourselves. No condos or big crowds. There were times when we were the only people on the beach. Public beach is a mile South. So if you are looking for the perfect larger beach house with some solitude this is it. All you need to bring is groceries, sunscreen, and your beach clothes.

Florida isn't always the warmest in February but if all you need is some down time and the sound of the ocean and some beach fishing, this place is perfect.

Great house - step off the patio onto the beach - plenty of sleeping rooms especially with separate apartment downstairs which is its own self contained unit and big communal area. Dining at the kitchen island on high stools which seat 4 - we had collapsible table with us for working so we managed but that is the only element this house misses and other than COVID we would have been dining out - would be a useful addition and I would definitely stay again - owner very responsive on comms.06/24/2020 at 11:48 AM
